In my early years of practice, I would intellectually match my “solutions” to a patient’s perceived “problems” and send them with a list of ideas that could help. These days, it’s my goal to check both our heads’ at the door and tap into something much more powerful – your own wisdom. The body knows best and will alert us to potential issues as they arise. If we are willing to meet this with genuine curiosity and compassion, often that’s all it takes to come to the answers we need to find balance, and in turn, good health.
